Noah Syndergaard’s ‘Game of Thrones’ cameo is epic
Instead of throwing fastballs from the mound, Mets ace Noah Syndergaard joined the Lannister army on Sunday night’s “Game of Thrones” — launching a spear at an enemy soldier.
“Take that you mean Dothraki,” the ballplayer tweeted after the episode.
Syndergaard, nicknamed for the long-haired God of Thunder, soon came under attack from the mother of dragons Daenerys Targaryen.
“To my sides defense . . . they had a FRICKEN DRAGON!!!” the pitcher tweeted in defense of his loss. “At least I didn’t throw behind him.”
One of the dragon’s victims was Jaime Lannister — but it was unclear if the attack was fatal. The fiery battle between the Dothraki hordes and House Lannister capped off the explosive Season 7 “Thrones” episode “The Spoils of War.”
